Raymond Burner

Coronet Style. #1 size (1-5/8" lip chimney). Two piece burner. Loose deflector. Burner conforms more to Raymond's patent #38,537 of May 12, 1863. Patents are for  a spring to put pressure on the wick, a spring for the chimney clip and a feeder wick design on base. Chimney clip has extended sides to better grip the chimney and limit it's travel. Manufacture attributed to Dietz & Co. because 1/2 of patent #38,537 was assigned to Samuel Dietz. Burner illustrated in Dietz & Co. Catalog on plate #37 and named the "Paragon Wick Adjusting Burner".
